Welcome to My Blog!
It all started in June 2022. Brady had already graduated and was off "adulting" in Knoxville. One day it dawned on me, this would be Conner's last summer home from college. I had Conner, Sydney and Clara all at the house working the Brothers' BBQ Food Truck for the summer. In August they'd all be off to Knoxville as well, to start their "adulting". The hot housing market was starting to show signs of cooling off, so...I called a realtor, put the house up for sale July 14th and bought an RV on the 29th. Can you even in a million years have ever imagined I'd do such a thing?!?!
Well, I got lucky, the housing market was still warm - the house sold in 6 days! Closing was set for August 30th. So... I picked up my new home on wheels!

Thor Freedom Elite 30FE - 2 slide outs, queen side bedroom with dressers and closets, bunk beds that will function as my office area, sofa, kitchenette and sleeps 8 people!
Kylee and Jax are initially going to be my traveling companions, as I try to hit all 49 states in the next year or two. I plan on having several humans join me along the way, and most of you know who you are. But for starters, it's just the "four legged kids" and me :)
Why a blog?
This blog is to track all of our adventures, sharing it with all of you - my family and friends! This way, I can reach all of you at one time vs. texting each of you individually. I'm not a fan of FB, so this was the best way I could think of.
As Conner put it one day over the summer, "Mom is going to live her best life ever". Hope you will enjoy keeping track of us along our journey. We most certainly are going to enjoy experiencing it!! They say, "a picture doesn't do it justice", but I will do my best with my photos. Hoping that minor in Photography pays off!!
Better late than never
I have a lot of posting to catch up on, from the closing of the house on August 30th until November 19th, so keep checking back!! I already have some pretty awesome pictures to get on here!
Looking ahead
Eventually I hope to capture events everyday while traveling and post at least once a week. No promises though! I will be spending the holidays in Arizona and a month+ in Dallas at the beginning of 2023. The months after Dallas are still TBD but for sure we need to be in Montana in May for Christine and Zach's wedding! Woo-hoo!
I love the blog and that you're doing this for yourself. Enjoy and take care
This is awesome - i love this and to be able to follow you on your adventure is pretty cool.
